Talk to a person

We are small enough that your message reaches somebody who actually makes the kit. Sizing questions, squad orders, a colourway you wish existed — all fair game.

Sizing & FAQ

The practical answers

Size chart

Measurements are body measurements, not garment measurements. Compression tops are cut snug on purpose.

What if a sailor is between sizes?

Size up. The knit has a lot of give, and a growing fourteen-year-old will be glad of it by August. The one thing not to do is buy two sizes up — a loose base layer bunches under a harness and stops doing its job entirely.

How should the compression top actually feel?

Snug everywhere, tight nowhere. It should feel like a firm hand on the ribs, not like a restriction on breathing. If a sailor cannot get a full breath in it, it is too small; if it wrinkles across the chest, it is too big.

Can it go in the washing machine?

Yes. Rinse in fresh water after sailing, then machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to dry. No fabric softener — it clogs the wicking. No tumble dryer, and nothing hot near the sleeve print.

Does the antimicrobial finish actually do anything?

The fabric carries a silver-based finish aimed at the bacteria that cause odour. Initial lab testing returned a 95% reduction in Staphylococcus aureus and a 96% colony reduction in Klebsiella pneumoniae.

What that buys you is a top that is still wearable on the third morning of a regatta, and a kit bag the rest of the car can live with. It is not a health claim, and it does not replace rinsing the thing out.

Will the neon fade?

Not meaningfully in a season of normal use. The colour is dyed rather than printed on the compression tops, and the knit is chlorine- and salt-resistant. What kills neon is heat — dryers, radiators, and being left on a car dashboard.

Shipping and returns

Dispatched within two working days. Free shipping on orders over €150, otherwise a flat €9 across Europe and the US.

Returns are free within 30 days on unworn kit with tags on. Try it on dry land first — once a compression top has been in salt water we cannot take it back. Personalised team kit is not returnable unless we got it wrong, in which case we will fix it.

Where do you ship?

Across Europe and to the United States. Free over €150, otherwise a flat €9. If your club sits somewhere we do not reach yet, email us anyway — we have sorted it out before, and we would rather find a way than turn a squad down.

When is the next drop?

Autumn 2026, with the Squall Shell in two more colourways and a lighter summer-weight top. Sign up at the bottom of the page and you will hear before anyone else.
